The Nurse just came back in and informed us that the surgery is still going well after 3 hours in. She said he’s stable and that his body is functioning well. In roughly 45 minutes he will be off the bypass machine. While observing him the new valve was functioning properly, and before they stitch his chest together, they make sure all internal parts are working well.
